Kazuyuki Ishihara

Born in Nagasaki, Japan in 1958, at 22 Kazuyuki Ishihara studied the Japanese art of flower arrangement, Ikebana. Inspired by the flower shops of Paris, he began selling flowers on the street before opening his own flower shops, followed by his company and gardens. Bringing elements of Japanese garden design like stone gardens, bonsai and moss into his unique world style of landscaping, his designs have been highly acclaimed at the Chelsea Flower Show in the UK since 2004. Renowned as the pinnacle of international gardening shows, Kazuki Ishihara has won an unprecedented total of 12 gold medals between 2006 and 2023. The late Queen Elizabeth II declared him to be a “Magician of Greenery” after visiting the Chelsea Flower Show and seeing his work.

Order Process

  • Inquiry:

    During the consultation, we will ask about the size of your garden, your vision, and your budget.

  • Preliminary Estimate:

    First we will check the space using a camera or video. After rendering a rough draft, we will provide you with a preliminary estimate of approximate costs.
    The process from the initial inquiry to this preliminary estimate takes about 2-4 weeks, with no charge for the consultation and estimate.

  • Preliminary Contract (Deposit)

    If the initial online estimate fits within your budget, we can proceed to write up a formal contract.

  • Site Survey

    Ishihara will personally visit the site to be landscaped and create a more detailed and specific design image.

  • Final Estimate

    You will see an accurate design imaging, and based on that and the materials used, we will issue a final estimate.

  • Final Contract

    If the terms of the estimate based on our planning are agreeable, we will issue a final contract. This marks the beginning of construction.

  • Construction

    We hope you enjoy watching Ishihara's world gradually take shape.

  • Construction Completion

    From inquiry to completion, the process will take approximately 6 months.

  • Maintenance (Additional)

    We also provide maintenance for flowers and greenery that grow over time, preserving your beautiful garden without changes.
